Great question! You certainty can, if your caterer provides a bar service, but most of the time their main focus (as it should be) is making sure the food at your event is perfect. Our TIPs certified bartenders are built to make and serve drinks. We are made up of certified bartending professionals who love what we do. So it is not only our number one priority to ensure the drinks taste good, but that your guests are leaving the bar happy each visit!
Due to State of Rhode Island Liquor Laws, our clients are always required to provide (purchase) the alcohol for all events. We work closely with our clients to help determine the amount of alcohol required. We know you have other things to worry about, so we can pick up the pre-purchased alcohol from your vendor and bring it with us to the venue.
After breakdown, we will pack up and organize the alcohol at the end of the event. Due to State of Rhode Island Liquor Laws, our clients will be responsible for taking any left over alcohol with them at the conclusion of the event. Most unopened alcohol can be returned to the liquor store for a refund, however, you would want to verify that at time of purchase.
Because Perfect Pour, LLC is based out of Rhode Island, we follow the same guidelines as above. We cannot purchase any alcohol for you or take with us any alcohol at the conclusion of the event. But are happy to bring with us any alcohol you've purchased ahead of time.
YES! We carry at the minimum, a 1 million dollar liquor liability insurance policy for each event. Like our pricing, we customize the policy based on the specifics of the event. Also, all of our experienced bartenders are TIPs certified for maximum safety at your event.
Our bartenders will be wearing their standard attire which is black shirts, black pants and black shoes. If you prefer them to wear themed attire, that can be discussed and arranged.
Gratuity is not included in the cost of your event, unless otherwise discussed. Those of us in the service industry relies heavily on tips. In cases where a tip jar is not appropriate or allowed, the host is responsible for the gratuity. The amount of gratuity is at the host’s discretion with 20% as a guideline.
We accept cash, check, all major credit cards , Square and Venmo.
We do require a non refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking and signing a contract. This costs will come off your final payment, which is due the day of your event.
Our staff will arrive at least 1 hour prior to the event and set up the bar space with time to spare before your guests arrive. At the conclusion of the event, the bar area will be cleaned, and removed, with the exception of any alcohol, mixers or supplies that the host has purchased. Perfect Pour, is not allowed to take or transport any alcohol off the event venue premise at the agreed upon end time noted in the contract. The client will be responsible for this, and will make sure it is ready for you to pack in your vehicles for a hassle free transfer.
“Last Call” should be done 15 minutes prior to the bar closing. The bar will close no later than 30 minutes prior to the end of the event/music/entertainment. Only one drink may be given per guest after “Last Call”. By Rhode Island Law, a maximum of 5.5 hours of alcohol service will be provided at your event to ensure guest safety.
